Expired animal medicines torched in Kabul

KABULinfo-icon (Pajhwok): About 56 various kinds of expired animal medicines worth 350,000 afghanis were collected and torched in Kabul, the Ministry of Agricultureinfo-icon, Irrigation and Livestock (MAIL) on Sunday said.

A MAIL statement received by Pajhwok Afghan News said the expired medicines had been seized and collected by MAIL’s general directorate personnel for animal healthinfo-icon from different areas of Kabul city. It said the torched medicines worth 350,000 afghanis.

The MAIL had decided to deal with imports of expired medicines, poor-quality animal food sternly and legally.

It is for a second time this year the MAIL set afire expired medicines.
